    Job Description:


    As an Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our security systems, with a specific focus on server security.

    You will work closely with our IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure that our infrastructure, particularly our servers, are secure against internal and external threats.


    Responsibilities:


    • Design, deploy, and manage security infrastructure such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptographic systems, and other security mechanisms.
    • Oversee and secure server environments, including physical and virtual servers.
    • Monitor network and system performance to identify and resolve security breaches or vulnerabilities, especially on servers.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits, with a focus on server security, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement security policies and protocols tailored for server security.
    • Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate server security practices into the overall network architecture.
    • Lead incident response activities, including forensic analysis of servers and mitigation strategies.
    • Stay updated on the latest security threats and countermeasures related to server security.
    • Provide training and guidance to other team members on security best practices with a focus on server security.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering.
    • 1-2 years of experience with a focus on security.
    • Strong understanding of server infrastructure, network architectures, and security mechanisms.
    • Proficient in using security software and tools designed for server protection.
    • Experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Preferred Skills:


    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
    • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset or investment management.
    • Knowledge of cloud security architectures and solutions, including server security in cloud environments.
