Essential Job Duties

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, delivery logistics, and service execution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and procurement to maintain sufficient supplies while minimizing waste and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all catering facilities.
  • Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown
  • Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during events, implementing solutions to ensure client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Schedule staff effectively

Client Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their catering needs and expectations.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally

Qualifications

  • 3 years in a Banquet Captain or Maitre D role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and holidays

Compensation
- **Salary**:$75,000 - $85,000
