    Overview

    Job Title: Rooms Supervisor

    As a Rooms Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising Housekeeping and Front Desk staff to ensure that brand/hotel guest service and sustainability standards are consistently met.

    Potential Career Path:

    • Executive Housekeeper
    • Front Office Manager
    • Assistant General Manager
    • General Manager

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Train, schedule, coach, and support associates following established brand or hotel standards in line with HHM core values.
    • Screen job applicants and hire new employees.
    • Ensure staff is trained to clean rooms efficiently.
    • Communicate guest service scores to drive improvement.
    • Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
    • Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
    • Prepare work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.
    • Follow sustainability guidelines and safe work practices.
    • Resolve guest complaints effectively.
    • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work towards improvement.
    • Participate in activities to create a guest-centric culture.
    • Perform front office operations when needed.
    • Conduct bookkeeping activities and handle guest accounts.
    • Promote brand-specific marketing programs.
    • Greet guests, assign rooms, and handle payments.
    • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas.
    • Create action plans to enhance guest service.

    Position Requirements:

    • High School diploma preferred.
    • Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
    • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

    Work Environment and Context:

    • Varied work schedule including holidays and weekends.
    • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending.
