Our Bartenders are relied on to provide memorable, thoughtful experiences through engaging with our guests, preparing delicious Zinc beverages, serving Zinc foods with a smile and anticipating the needs of each guest that visits us.
No matter what position you start in with us, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and will be encouraged to take on different positions within our team.
Responsibilities:
Team Member responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcome and connect with every guest, provide friendly and personable service
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including seating area
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all our menus & products and demonstrate knowledge of dietary/allergy information and proper food handling
- Operate a POS register to complete customer transactions
- Prepare drinks according to recipe and customer requests
- Communicate with kitchen to ensure all orders and requests are filled
- Monitor wine & liquor displays and restock inventory
- Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
- Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
- Maintain customer privacy, behave with openmindedness and cultural sensitivity
- Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid19 and other illnesses

Job Qualifications:

- Communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
- Food handlers certification
- Work Authorization: United States Citizen or Undocumented Noncitizen authorized to work in the United States
Work Context:
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Working with foods and beverages
- The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
- Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a typical office and restaurant environment
