Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team.
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff and will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment.
This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a dedicated team and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare center.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and residents in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and direction as needed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Respond to inquiries from residents, families, and the public, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
- Maintain the reception area in a neat and organized manner, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and sorting mail.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as requested by staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in handling resident and employee information.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the healthcare center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward residents, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
