Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Field Technicians to join our team.

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low-voltage cabling, computer and networking equipment.

This is a hands-on and self-employed role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities:

• Travel to client sites and complete workorders in line with our quality expectations
• Install, configure, and maintain wiring and network systems in various locations
• Perform equipment and cabling installations, including running Ethernet cables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cabling and networking equipment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Provide technical support to customers and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Document all work performed, including system configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Field Technician or similar role is preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components
• Familiarity with computer networking principles and protocols
• Proficiency in low voltage cabling and telecommunication systems
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION BECAUSE YOU WILL USE IT TO TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITES IN YOUR AREA PLUS UP TO 60 MILES TO PERFORM WORKORDERS.

TRAVEL REIMBURSED WITH LABOR

This job is scalable so you can work as much or as little as you desire depending on how well you can manage your scheduled work.

From $25.00 per hour
