TGC Logistics is a Houston-based company providing full-service sushi and Asian food operations in retail stores, universities and corporate offices nationwide for over 20 years. Our company is expanding rapidly and is seeking for a reliable delivery driver to support our distribution business. As a delivery driver, you will be making deliveries from our Houston warehouse to other areas of Texas, while providing prompt and courteous customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a 26ft box truck to and from delivery route destinations safely while maintaining a timely schedule
• Unload, or assist with unloading of products from vehicle at destinations
• Count products and verify delivery invoices with customers, and obtain customers' signatures on receipt of merchandise
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Inform dispatcher of any changes to customer orders or customer complaints
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and report mechanical problems immediately
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience of driving box trucks is required
• A current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in operating a pallet jack is required
• CDL is preferred, not required
• Know how to operate an ELD log
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Speaks and understands conversational English
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US
• Must pass background check and drug test
