- Lead and motivate a team of over 80 drivers, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations at all times.
- Ensure all routes are running on schedule.
- Schedule and plan operations, including a basic understanding of KPIs, budget planning, and talent management.
- Lead customer relations with airline crews, achieving "Raving Fan" service levels and exceeding client expectations.
- Prioritize safety management, exhibiting a personal commitment to safety – enforce "Safety First" as a priority.
- Communicate issues and provide data to headquarters and dispatch for timely resolution.
- Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections.
- Build a team of reliable drivers.
- Basic computer and mobile technology skills - Experience and desire to work with technology
- Proven track record of success in leadership in building a team. A driver advocate
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Minimum of 2+ years of management experience (airline/airport or transportation environment preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation or related industries.
- Proven track record of safety management and contributing to the maintenance of a safety culture.
- Training/coaching background preferred.
- Have a valid driver's license and be approved by the Company's insurance carrier; may be required to obtain special city/airport permits.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule that may require weekend and/or evening work. The New York holiday season is our busiest time due to all incoming/outgoing flights.
