- Answering incoming phone calls
- Provide doctor or attorney referrals to callers
- Help callers get setup with initial case management
- Provide administrative support as needed to enhance office effectiveness
- Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony
- Type up and file basic documents and correspondence
- Direct phone calls as needed
- Maintain contact lists
- Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
- Proven working experience in a call center environment or as a legal assistant or legal secretary
- Familiarity with the law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Potential signing bonus
- Bonus package based on appointments scheduled
- Starting salary of $30,000 to $40,000 plus performance pay
- Health, Dental, and Vision are available on the 1st of the month after 90 days
- 5 days of Personal time off available on day 1
- PTO usage is available after completing 90 days of employment and it accrues.
