Description
Summary:
A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising patient teaching, and overseeing nursing personnel while upholding professional standards. The Registered Nurse offers both direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements:
A. Education/Skills: Completion of a State Board School of Nursing program or equivalent.
B. Experience: Preferred six (6) months of experience.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Must hold a current license or permit to practice nursing in Texas. AHA BLS certification required within two (2) weeks of employment. ACLS certification mandatory within eight (8) weeks of employment. Arrhythmia Recognition Course completion within the same timeline.
