Helena, the all-rounder in production


As a tool mechanic, you will manufacture metal and plastic parts, embossing and pressing molds, as well as injection molding, punching, forming, and printing tools from raw materials.

You will assemble individual machine components into larger units and check the correct functioning of the components after final assembly.

This requires both traditional manual processing methods and modern CNC-controlled machine tools, often with precision down to the thousandth of a millimeter.

To ensure the exact control of the manufactured workpieces, tool mechanics work with measuring and testing equipment.

At EWIKON, your main task will be the final assembly of hot runner components.

In production, you will assemble components into finished hot runner nozzles or distribution systems, or assemble complete hot runner tools according to customer orders.

In our service department, you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer systems.

Duration of training: 3 1/2 years


Vocational school:
Hans-Viessmann-Schule, Frankenberg


Degree:
IHK certificate


Personal requirements:
Good secondary school or high school diploma

Good knowledge of mathematics

Manual dexterity and interest in technology

Enjoyment of precise and careful work

Sense of responsibility and reliability
