Maintenance Manager

Your key responsibilities:

Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and efficient management of potential risks.
Implement proactive maintenance strategies, such as computerized maintenance management systems, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
Supervise the maintenance planning team, ensuring effective prioritization and deployment of maintenance staff.
Engage in planning and overseeing capital investments, including shutdown coordination and management of the Mobile Equipment Program.
Supervise the Apprenticeship Program and create growth plans for team members.
Collaborate with the labor union to address emerging issues effectively.

Qualifications for success:

Minimum 8 years of managerial experience, particularly in overseeing large maintenance teams.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing capital projects and troubleshooting PLCs/light programming.
Prior experience with unions is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, from the production floor to senior management.
Willingness to serve as a backup resource for 24/7 operations.
