Description

As a large internal center with a regional catchment area, we offer the specialties of cardiology, nephrology, pneumology, diabetology, endocrinology, lipidology, apheresis, and dialysis.

To strengthen our team of physicians in the diabetology department, we are looking for a Medical Director (m/f/d) for the Diabetology Department to start as soon as possible in the form of an employment relationship.

What your responsibilities will include:

Management responsibility for the department
Personnel planning and staff management
Co-responsibility for business management
Further development of existing structures
Goal-oriented integration of the team
Qualified, independent work in a highly professional diabetes team
Comprehensive care for patients with diabetes mellitus of any origin, as well as care for diabetes mellitus during pregnancy
Responsible use of modern diabetes technologies such as insulin pumps, CGM, and loop systems
Leading a team of physicians, diabetes educators, and wound care specialists
