Description

As a Loader/Unloader at CUBESTEEL LLC, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials, products, and equipment.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that shipments are properly loaded for transport and unloaded upon arrival, adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards.

You will play a critical role in the logistics and operations of our facility, contributing to the timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Load materials, products, and equipment onto trucks, trailers, or other transport vehicles according to loading schedules and specifications. Secure loads using appropriate restraints, straps, or fasteners to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Unload incoming shipments of materials, products, and equipment from trucks or containers upon arrival at the facility. Safely remove items from vehicles and transport them to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment.
Handle materials, products, and equipment with care to prevent damage or injury. Follow proper lifting techniques and safety procedures when moving heavy or bulky items. Use equipment such as pallets, crates, or bins to organize and stack materials for storage or transportation.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition. Identify any discrepancies, damages, or defects in materials or products and report them to supervisors or quality assurance personnel. Ensure that all items meet quality standards before loading or unloading.
Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations at all times to prevent accidents, injuries, or property damage. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safe work practices when operating machinery or handling materials. Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or hoists to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently. Conduct preoperation checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.

$ $30.95 per hour
