    About the Company:


    An Elder Care Alliance Community is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team at Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland.

    Known for providing top-notch senior assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services, the community values both its employees and residents.


    Job Title:
    Sales and Marketing Director

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for planning, developing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of sales and marketing for the community
    • Develops the annual marketing plan and budget, optimizing program offerings to identified markets of older adults
    • Participates in planning new unit availability, pricing levels, marketable services, and advertising themes
    • Manages a team of marketing professionals and collaborates with the Corporate VP of Sales and Marketing

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Proven track record in closing sales and leads
    • New development lease up experience preferred
    • Two or more years in the senior sales and marketing environment
    • Demonstrated sales experience in senior living, hotel/hospitality, or related healthcare environment preferred
    • Previous successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business
    • Excellent written, verbal presentation, and customer service skills
    • Schedule flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other tools

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Sensitivity and knowledge of working with older adults and the aging process
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational ability
    • Ability to develop and manage programs and systems simultaneously
    • Understanding of the aging process and its implications in a social setting
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a team player attitude
