Description
Reporting to the Chief of Staff/Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (COS/CFAO) within Student Affairs, the Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive program of marketing and communications initiatives, strategies, high-profile events, and communications support for the Student Affairs Organization.
This multifaceted position entails developing and executing innovative marketing and communications campaigns, including social media management, enhancing brand exposure and awareness, and leading external engagement with campus guests and community stakeholders to elevate Student Affairs.
The incumbent will coordinate all aspects of high-profile events planning and implementation, and ensure adherence to UC and UCR policies and procedures.
Please be advised that candidates may be required to provide a work sample as part of the interview process.The salary range for the Director, Marketing and Communications is $71,100 - $128,700 annually.
We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
