Position Summary:


Under general supervision, the Desktop Support Technician at Futuro Health provides essential technical support to personnel, ensuring seamless operations through adept handling of computer hardware, software, and networks.

This role involves installing, setting up, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues with devices, software, hardware, networks, and peripheral equipment. The position offers flexible hours, typically adhering to an 8am-5pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Some travel will be required.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all computer and systemrelated concerns from Futuro Health personnel.
  • Efficiently triage helpdesk tickets, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Document processes for technical support and endusers, ensuring knowledge retention and transfer.
  • Configure and deploy computer hardware utilizing Intune.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager in the development of Intune deployment packages.
  • Monitor operating systems and other software for necessary updates through Intune.
  • Stay vigilant in monitoring system vulnerabilities via MS Defender for Endpoint or other AV / EDR software.

Essential Job Functions

  • Research best practices while assessing the effectiveness of the current team. Proactively propose innovative solutions to build a bestinclass support model.
  • Prepare regular reports for the IT Operations Manager highlighting the achievements and impact of technology.
  • Serve as a champion for users, advocating for their needs and collaborating with internal teams to address challenges and create a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in a service desk or technical support role.
  • Proficiency in OS Imaging and software deployment.
  • Exposure to Azure AD and/or Intune.
  • Familiarity with antivirus, antispam, wireless communication, mobile devices, and information technology security.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask.
  • Valid driver's license

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Service role or Allied Healthcare setting. Previous experience as a student advisor or coach is a plus.


Work Environment/Travel:

This is a remote role. Travel will also be required to attend meetings and conferences.


Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have supervisory responsibility over other staff.


Physical Demands:
The capacity to lift 25 pounds is required. Able to drive, sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours including after hours and weekends although this will be infrequent.


Position Type:
This position is full-time. The hours may include weekends, nights and holidays.
