- Implement manufacturing operations strategy in alignment with Company plan and customers' needs.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety, product quality, co-worker training, production capacity, staffing, and operational efficiency.
- Establish manufacturing plans, goals, and enhancements.
- Identify root causes and corrective actions to achieve standard install times for On Road water, Flatbed, and dump bed in Hockley, Texas.
- Assess mechanics truck builds and develop plans to become the top upfitter in the region.
- Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and related processes.
- Drive manufacturing process strategies to achieve company goals.
- Refine and execute fabrication startup plan in Texas.
- Collaborate with the Hockley paint department for coating fabricated parts.
- Implement technological improvements and create policies to maximize capacity while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
- Lead operations/manufacturing organization to foster teamwork and morale.
- Develop manufacturing and personnel plans.
- Report manufacturing metrics transparently.
- Enhance product lines' gross margins.
- Ensure excellent organizational communications at the site level.
- Establish cost control standards to minimize manufacturing costs.
- Analyze financial statements and activity reports to measure productivity and identify cost reduction areas.
- Implement policies in material usage, capacity planning, production methods, and employee relations to boost efficiency.
- Develop and manage budget reports.

Must have strategic planning, finance, distribution, manufacturing, and good leadership abilities. In addition, analytical math skills, proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; good interpersonal communication and relational abilities; proficient PC skills, including Internet use; strong organizational skills; flexibility; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; good visual and auditory skills.
Experience needed: Minimum of 5 years in Operations and/or Manufacturing Management roles.
