Proper Hospitality is seeking a Vice President of Food & Beverage to join our Los Angeles-based corporate team.

This key role is responsible for the daily operations, culture and financial performance of all Food & Beverage programming within our portfolio. As we continue to scale, the Vice President of Food & Beverage will be laser-focused on strategic planning, initiative management, special project execution, operations management and department leadership.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute innovative Food & Beverage concepts with a marketing focus for luxury outlets, driving top-line revenue through evolution and refinement of offerings that resonate with target audiences and enhance guest experiences:
Provide strategic leadership to Corporate Directors of Food & Beverage, working in tandem with the marketing team, the Corporate Culinary Director, and property-level Food & Beverage management teams.

Collaborate with the marketing department to elevate Food & Beverage brand presence, delivery consistency, service, and presentation standards across all properties within the portfolio:
Alongside the Chief Operating Officer, take full ownership of financial success across all properties by developing and executing revenue-driving marketing campaigns, setting and achieving Food & Beverage revenue goals, and implementing cost-effective strategies:
Foster and nurture strong relationships with Food & Beverage vendors, overseeing procurement and integrating marketing collaborations to maximize visibility and negotiated pricing agreements:
Lead initiatives related to kitchen design and OS&E procurement, optimizing efficiency and functionality, and aligning with branding and marketing initiatives:
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to attract and recruit top-tier culinary leadership talent, showcasing the brand's strength and unique selling points\:
Exercise direct oversight of menu development, integrating market research and trend analysis to focus on innovation, meeting guest preferences, and driving revenue:
Spearhead the recipe costing process, consistently seeking cost-effective solutions while highlighting value propositions in marketing campaigns:
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure rigorous adherence to branding guidelines across all Food & Beverage Standard Operating Procedures:
Lead the development and execution of strategic Food & Beverage-related components within the annual business plan and budget, incorporating market analysis, competitor benchmarking, concept development, repositioning, and branding initiatives:
Conduct systematic property inspections to assess operational performance, and gather insights for marketing strategies based on cleanliness, adherence to brand, local, and national standards:
Take on special projects as assigned by senior leadership, leveraging expertise in Food & Beverage to drive innovation, operational excellence, market penetration, and strategic initiatives across the organization

Specific Requirements

15+ years of experience overseeing multi-unit F&B operations, with a proven track record in strategic planning, performance optimization, and financial management:
Advanced degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields is preferred:
Extensive experience in full-service and luxury hotel operations is mandatory:
Strong background in restaurant management, with an emphasis on upscale or fine dining establishments:
Proven leadership in developing and launching new Food & Beverage concepts, resulting in revenue growth and enhanced guest satisfaction:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and influence at the executive level:
Proficiency in leveraging technology, data analytics, and consumer insights to make informed decisions and drive innovation in F&B offerings

Regular travel to oversee hotels within the portfolio, attend industry events, scout for new business opportunities, and lead New Hotel Openings is required
