- Assist with training back of house team members
- Facilitate opening and closing checklists, systems and procedures
- Ensure food safety and quality, portion control, order accuracy, and timeliness
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Creative menu development
- Event and banquet menus and execution
- Ensure high food quality, cost efficiencies, and consistent plate presentation
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or food service
- Serve Safe Food Service Manager Certification (will assist in obtaining if don't already have)
- Communication and professionalism
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Riverhouse Waterfront is a well known, casual fine dining waterfront dining concept located on the mile-wide Manatee River, at Safe Harbor Regatta Pointe Marina in Palmetto.
Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant is hiring experienced sous chefs to oversee menu and food execution, execute back of house kitchen activities, and work with our culinary team. At least one year of kitchen experience is preferred, preferably in a leadership or sous chef capacity. Riverhouse is a waterfront, casual fine dining full-service restaurant located on the Manatee River in Palmetto, Florida (minutes from Bradenton). Riverhouse features multiple dining experiences including inside and outside dining, dockside patio bar, upscale Second Floor dining, and multiple private rooms for events and banquets.
