WHAT YOU'LL DO:


As a Lead Knowledge Analyst (LKA) in a Client Focused role within BCG's Customer Demand & Innovation (CD&I) topic, you will work within the rapidly growing Center for Consumer Insights (CCI), delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.).

You will contribute to proposals and cases through thought partnership in your area of expertise, deliver original analyses and insights helping drive strong impact with clients.

While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.


You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights & advice for proposals and client workshops.

Additionally, as a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will lead development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your Customer Demand & Innovation expertise.

CD&I projects ignite growth for our global clients across industries through best-in-class insights on customer behaviour and needs.

One project may involve writing a survey to inform the investment thesis for a consumer products client looking at an acquisition in a new category.

Another project may involve developing, executing, and synthesizing new qualitative and quantitative research to inform service Innovation for a travel and tourism client.

Yet another may necessitate research to renovate the employer branding for a fashion and luxury client.

While contributing to client projects, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.


In addition to supporting client projects, you will also support commercialization efforts for the CD&I topic, working in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights and advice for proposals and client workshops.

You will contribute to the development of intellectual property, best practices, and other assets for the business; Improving BCG's proprietary frameworks; building methodologies and tools; and guiding generalist consultants on the execution of quantitative and qualitative research.

You will develop state of the art tools, working hand in hand with Knowledge Team peers.


YOU'RE GOOD AT:


  • Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions in primary and consumer market research
  • Engaging senior stakeholders and client team members, delivering targeted communication based on stakeholder settings
  • Managing projects with ability to prioritize work in a fastpaced environment, demonstrating business sense and adaptability
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fastpaced environment

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):


  • In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 610+ years of market research agency experience, with direct experience using quantitative research to address a range of business problems (experience with qualitative research and/or social listening a plus)
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Strong problemsolving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Deep understanding and expertise in relevant Customer Demand & Innovation topic
  • Fluency in English; other languages requested in certain locations

YOU'LL WORK WITH:


As a Client Focus KT, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants.

In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:


The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients.

KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.


BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information.

KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business v
