Job Overview:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing 3PL Transportation Company based in Excelsior Springs, MO, seeking an experienced and driven Domestic Freight Sales Manager.
This pivotal role involves developing and managing sales strategies for domestic freight services, maintaining client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase domestic freight services revenue.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Collaborate with the team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer freight needs are met.
Requirements:
Proven sales experience in the transportation or 3PL industry.
Strong understanding of domestic freight market and trends.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
