- Supervise and lead a team of powder coating technicians and operators to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule powder coating activities to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Monitor and maintain automated powder coating equipment, ensuring proper functioning and minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of powder coating processes, equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on powder coating techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production planners, maintenance teams, and quality assurance personnel to resolve issues and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain inventory levels of powder coating materials, supplies, and equipment parts.
- Previous experience working in powder coating operations, with hands-on experience on an automated powder coating line.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.
- Understanding of quality control principles and techniques related to powder coating.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and coordination.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of product quality and consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
