PrimaCARE, searching for a reliable Medical Assistant/LPN to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practices running efficiently.

The Medical Assistant will work directly with the healthcare practice staff to ensure excellent patient care.


Essential functions and duties include:

• Verify patient information by interviewing patient
• Record medical history into the Electronic Medical Record (eCW)
• Confirm purpose of visit
• Assist in vascular procedures
• Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature;
• Report patient history summary
• Assist in basic examinations
• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
• Order supplies and stock patient care areas
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environments by establishing and following standards and procedures

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, preferably eClinical Works
• Bilingual a plus

Pay:
$ $23.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
