Job Summary:

Preferred Machine is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our 2nd shift team. _As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts using a press brake machine. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to program and operate the press brake machine.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
Select appropriate tools, dies, and fixtures for each job
Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine to ensure optimal performance
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machining processes
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Ability to program, set up, and operate press brake machines
Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metal fabrication
