- Teach twelve (12) hours or four (3-unit) classes each semester;

- Strong interpersonal skills and a spirit of enthusiasm and energy needed to interact with a diverse student population;
- Experience with academic advising and degree auditing preferred;
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and a knowledge of learning management platform such as Canvas and other technologies.

Simpson University's faculty salaries are based on three distinct factors: (1) Academic Degree; (2) Academic Rank (i.e. Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, full Professor); and (3) years of full-time college teaching experience. Accordingly, the salary range is $64,480 - $76,000.
