What You Will Achieve

  • The Administrative Lead will report to the Head of Clinical Pharmacology within POD (Pfizer Oncology Division) Clinical Pharmacology & Translational Science (CPTS) and provide administrative support for the CPTS Clinical Pharmacology group and the Business Operations & Integration Lead.
  • The Administrative Lead is expected to work autonomously to perform a full range of administrative and operational activities, supporting the Head of Clinical Pharmacology, the Business Operations & Integration Lead, the Clinical Pharmacology Leadership Team, and other colleagues in the Clinical Pharmacology group.
  • The Administrative Lead will contribute to the team's operational efficiency and culture.
How You Will Achieve It

  • Manages the schedules of the Head of CPTS Clinical Pharmacology and the CPTS Business Operations & Integration Lead, which include meeting scheduling and coordinating external engagements
  • Coordinates the scheduling and agenda planning for CPTS Clinical Pharmacology leadership team meetings, group meetings, and seminars. Responsible for all logistics related to those meetings including agenda distribution, conference room reservations, teleconference and/or videoconference, catering, and associated meeting logistics
  • Manages business expense reporting & tracking, business travel arrangements, and purchasing office equipment & supplies for all staff within CPTS Clinical Pharmacology and Business Operations & Integration Lead
  • Coordinates site visits by leaders and colleagues from other sites
  • Support external engagements including conference and meeting attendance
  • Supports the Group's Sharepoint site maintenance and update
  • Plans and coordinates team building activities
  • Coordinates staff's training curriculum, records management, and operational alignment with partner groups (Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, and Clinical Bioanalytics within PRD Translational Clinical Sciences)
  • Manages the contracts/agreements with academic institutions for fellowship and student assistant programs and research collaborations
  • Coordinates onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, fellows, interns, and visiting students
  • Coordinates the curriculum and schedule for fellows, interns, and visiting students
  • Serves as a resource for staff on relevant corporate information
  • Works closely with enabling and partner functions such as HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Digital and Business Development.
  • Works closely with other Administrative Partners within CPTS and PRD TCS.

Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ years' experience
  • Demonstrated planning and organizing skills
  • Demonstrated administrative experience with an ability to carry out all office functions proficiently, and to complete quality work on a timely basis
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent judgment as well as the ability to work with confidential documents and information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and other features
Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Pfizer organizational processes.
  • Proficiency in Pfizer systems (e.g., Ariba, SharePoint, Concur, and Workday).
  • Knowledge of Pfizer corporate compliance policies, T&E policies, etc.
  • Familiarity with Pfizer Clinical Pharmacology & partner groups
