    Opportunity:

    Join a leading landscape company in Fort Worth as an Irrigation Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining beautiful and healthy outdoor spaces. Your expertise will be essential in designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems for a variety of commercial and residential properties, with a focus on 2-wire systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation: Install new irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems, involving digging trenches, laying pipe, setting sprinkler heads, and wiring controllers.
    • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems, troubleshooting issues, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing faulty components.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair irrigation system malfunctions, identifying problems such as leaks, broken pipes, faulty valves, or electrical issues in both traditional and 2-wire systems.
    • Programming: Program irrigation controllers, including those for 2-wire systems, to ensure optimal watering schedules based on weather conditions, plant types, and soil conditions.
    • Water Conservation: Implement water-saving practices and technologies to minimize water usage and promote sustainability.
    • Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, explaining irrigation system functions and answering their questions.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair, with specific experience working with 2-wire systems.
    • License: Must possess a valid Texas Licensed Irrigator (LI) license.
    • Technical Skills: Knowledge of irrigation system components, hydraulics, and electrical systems, including expertise in 2-wire technology.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve irrigation issues.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
    • Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record required.
    • Certifications (Preferred): Irrigation Association certifications (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician).

    Compensation and Benefits:
