- Prepares basic solutions and performs base-level procedures as assigned (i.e. - pipetting, cell and tissue culture, etc.)

- Understands and applies basic scientific techniques
- Conducts analysis of results and may begin interpretation of results
- Sets up and prepares routine experiments as directed
- Prepares lab reagents, chemicals, instruments and equipment
- May perform independent literature searches
- Assists with organizing materials for publication or presentation
- Maintains and orders supplies
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good communication skills

- Working knowledge of clinical research protocols
- Ability to perform multiple tasks independently
- Bachelor's degree required.
- New graduates with some lab experience (via course work, internships, etc.) or those without any prior research experience will be considered for the Research Technician I position outlined above.

GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Schneider Laboratory is excited to announce a compelling opportunity for an exceptionally motivated and impeccably organized wet lab research technician.
D., focusing on cell biology and its application in lung cancer research.
Under the expert guidance of Dr.
Schneider, your responsibilities will span a wide range of critical functions, each contributing to the advancement of our understanding of lung cancer and the development of potential treatments.
As part of your role, you will engage in the following key activities:Tissue Culture, Proteomics Assays, Cell Viability Studies, Molecular Biology Techniques, Gene Expression Analysis, Metabolomics, Animal (mouse) Studies, Intratracheal Injections, Immunohistochemistry, and Imaging Analysis.
You will maintain a dynamic schedule, spending time at Harvard Medical School in wet lab space and at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) each week.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
