Description

We are looking for you for the 3-year dual study program to become a Bachelor of Engineering in Railway Engineering with a focus on Construction (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Bremen, Hamburg, Kiel or Osnabrück.

Your theoretical phases will take place at the Technical University of Central Hessen in Gießen / Friedberg. During the semester breaks, you will work with us in the company.


What to expect:

  • Theoretical phases: You will acquire a broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, technical mechanics, and computer science.
  • Practical phases: You will gain comprehensive insights into the essential areas of railway operations and infrastructure. You will also be involved in exciting projects, such as the construction and renovation of railway facilities (e.g. tracks or bridges). You will learn about inspection processes and participate in the coordination of construction plans. Additionally, you will acquire basic knowledge of track construction, such as rail and sleeper replacement, track reconstruction, use of tamping machines, initial inspection for reconstruction, ultrasonic testing, and level crossing inspection.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your (technical) high school diploma or have a relevant vocational qualification (professionally qualified individuals must meet the requirements for enrollment at THM).
  • You excel in math and physics, and you have a good understanding of computer science.
  • You are fascinated by technical connections and railway operations.
  • You are communicative and enjoy working in a team
