Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop new concepts and technical solutions in interdisciplinary teams
  • Design, adjust, procure, and maintain all optics for laser technology (fiber lasers, femtosecond lasers, and YAG lasers)
  • Conduct experiments with optics to improve processing quality and optimize laser processes (achromats, aspheres, DOE, and similar)
  • Perform laser pulse measurements (including troubleshooting) using fast photodiodes and oscilloscopes for all lasers
  • Measurements with autocorrelator and focus meter
  • Measure laser power and procure components for measurement
  • Train employees on optical laser beam guidance
  • Purchase, maintenance, repair, and improvement of ergonomics for stereomicroscopes

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics, Optoelectronics, Microsystems Technology, or a comparable qualification
  • Prior professional and industry experience preferred
  • Experience in programming and analyzing measurements using MATLAB, Python, or similar software
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Ability to understand complex relationships and identify weaknesses
  • Independent, structured, and systematic thinking and working style
  • Teamwork and initiative
  • Solution-oriented work in interdisciplinary teams
