Private practice is finally back in the Raleigh region, an exceptional victory for true private practice. We are expanding our vibrant team, and we want you to be a part of this exciting transition.
Our physician-led group is currently seeking strong leaders in cardiothoracic anesthesia to provide coverage at WakeMed Raleigh, with opportunities to help at our nearby sites as well.
This is a stellar opportunity to lead the anesthesia team through a positive transition and gain a potential stake in partnership.
We offer stability, longevity, and a culture committed to our providers. OUR PACKAGEOur cardiac anesthesiologists perform approximately 750 cardiac pump cases per year, this includes CABG, valve surgery, and aortic arch surgery.
Over 150 structural cases are performed annually, including TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman/Amulet where the anesthesiologist will perform the TEE and supervise the anesthetic.
No VADs, no transplants and we do ECMO cases that are usually transferred for management. Additionally, we have a well-established Enhanced Recovery After Cardiac Surgery (ERACS) protocol for maximizing cardiothoracic surgery outcomes and efficiency.
