- A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years valuable technical professional experience will be considered.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in systems administration and maintenance.
- Experience in predominately Microsoft manged mixed environments.
- Experience in configuration of OS, applications, and user settings.
- Proven ability in manually constructing physical systems.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting layer 2 networks
- Experience with applying STIGs across operating systems, applications, and network peripherals.
- Savvy in resolving operating system and application issues.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, for effective collaboration with managers and technical staff.
- Hold an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility . If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- Hold, or can acquire within 6 months, a DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security +, CASP+, CCNP, or CCSP)
- An Advanced Degree or Certificate in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Virtualization experience in VMware and analogous environments.
- Skill in configuring managed switches.
- Knowledge and experience with endpoint protection applications.
- Solid grasp and experience with coding and automation.
- Familiarity with DCID or ICD security requirements.
