The Blind Institute Regensburg is a support center with a focus on VISUAL impairment and other support needs. Our support services cover all age ranges for people with visual impairment or blindness and other (including severe) disabilities.

In our interdisciplinary therapy team, we support children, adolescents, and adults with visual impairment, blindness, and other support needs in the areas of motor, auditory, intellectual, and emotional development. In our team of speech therapists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, as well as the specialist service (psychology, music therapy, rehabilitation specialists, and orthoptists), we work closely and trustingly together. Together, we design an individual, therapeutic care plan in coordination with the departments of preparatory school, school, therapeutic day care, residential living, and the adult area.
