    Responsibilities

    Valley Hospital Medical Center
    Located in Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is a teaching and acute care hospital providing healthcare to Southern Nevada residents since 1972, offering services such as cardiology and surgery.

    Job Description:

    Responsible for nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient education based on assessments of needs, conditions, and age. Duties include assessing nutritional status, developing care plans, educating patients, and preparing special diets.

    Qualifications

    Shift: PER DIEM VARIED

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA).

    Experience:

    Completed a CADE-accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility or agency, lasting six to twelve months.

    Technical Skills:

    Proficient in computers.

    License/Certification:

    Registered Dietitian from the ADA. Current Nevada State Dietitian license. Specialty certification may be required.

    Other:

    Must demonstrate skills suitable for patient age group.
