We are looking for a detailed-oriented, hard-working team member with warehouse experience and excellent time management and communication skills. Your responsibilities would include supporting all areas of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfilment. Supports the ultimate goal of Customer Service, Supply Chain and Sales, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.


Essential Functions:


  • Reads customer order, transfer order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas in the warehouse.
  • Counts materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
  • Accurately prepare, pack, and sort customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of quantity, type and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and or supplies stocked.
  • Track all orders as they progress through the supply chain.
  • Execute all aspects of outgoing orders and maintain shipping documentation, manifest, PO's and run data reports as needed.
  • Prepares shipping/receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation and records.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Uses computer to enter records and scanners to update inventory quantities.
  • Reports discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
  • Maintains and updates inventory records.
  • Participates in physical inventories as needed.
  • Attendance is an essential part of the job.
  • Performs other related duties as needed to meet department demands.
  • All other duties based on business needs and/or required by your supervisor.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); AA degree is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Proficient in computer skills/EXCEL. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.
  • Must be punctual and responsible
  • Must have basic math skills add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, weighs, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be organized and have great attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
  • Experience with scanners is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write in English.

Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; and Word Processing software.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee will be trained to utilize various warehouse equipment and vehicles, including standing task-support vehicles, and seated forklifts.


Pay:
$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
