Well known Non-Profit Health Agency is hiring for a
PCA Skills Trainer.


This wonderful non-profit serves people age 60 and older, adults living with disabilities, and their families and caregivers in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus, and Swampscott, Massachusetts for more than 45 years.

They provide a continuum of community health and social services to help people maintain their independence, safely and with dignity.

Providing a broad range of services including home care services; nutrition programs; transportation assistance; housing supports; clinical and protective services etc.

The agency recently received a second prestigious 3-year accreditation for excellence in case management and care coordination from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

The Senior Care Option (SCO) PCA Skills Trainer position provides program overview to interested consumers and their surrogates.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for intake and orientation for new PCA referrals and determining eligibility; carry a caseload of consumers who are enrolled in the PCA Program.

Experience

  • Minimum of an High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Khmer preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • The ability to appropriately handle confidential and personal information
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver license to make visits throughout the GLSS service area

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
