Description
The Safe Housing Project Advocate coordinates efficient and compassionate services to homeless victims of domestic and sexual violence as an integral partner in the county's Continuum of Care System.
- Conducts comprehensive assessment of Safe House clients and works with staff regarding clients' housing plans and needs. Works to secure housing for clients.
- Develop individualized support plans that address residents' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Participates in the county's Continuum of Care System. Attends meetings to plan for the housing needs of families and single homeless individuals, as well as makes and receives referrals of homeless domestic violence survivors.
- Provides case management, advocacy, safety planning, information and referral to clients receiving housing assistance.
- Facilitates weekly individual and support groups.
Pay:
$53,000.00 per year
