Description
Position works mandatory 12 hours per week.Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3-7 pm at Ray and McClintock, in Chandler, AZ. There is no flexibility on these hours, as these are the only hours we see students.
(COVID 19) While about 90% of the students have returned to the classroom, a small population of students are still using a virtual classroom or are hybrid. Therefore, you must be comfortable in both in person and video settings (zoom) for an undefined temporary time period.
Our center is open year round. We follow the Kyrene School District vacation calendar and observe major federal holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Grade homework and classwork.
- Math levels focus on counting, number recognition, number sequencing and adding.
- Reading levels focus on prereading skills such as letter sounds, pronunciation and recognition, dexterity and stroke order, blending, fluency and sentence writing.
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be responsible and reliable
- Must be able to communicate student's progress verbally and written.
- Must be friendly, patient and enjoy working with young children
In order to provide the best environment for our students, a minimum one year commitment required.
