Bad Hersfeld Festival:


The Bad Hersfeld Festival, under the direction of Joern Hinkel, takes place annually during the summer months in and around the historic Stiftsruine, located in the beautiful old half-timbered town of Bad Hersfeld in northern Hesse.

The focus of this outstanding regional festival is on theater and musical performances.

The performance venue in the Stiftsruine, with its movable roof, can accommodate 1300 spectators at each show. With the outdoor venue, around 100,000 visitors attend the Bad Hersfeld Festival during its 8-week run.


For our upcoming musical production, A Chorus Line, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced stage design assistant from the start of rehearsals on May 4, 2024 until June 22, 2024.


Requirements:

  • Degree in stage design/scenography (students are also welcome)
  • Experience as a set design assistant
  • Theater experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and organize according to the demands of the rehearsal process
  • Teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Knowledge of theater procedures
The contract is limited in time and will be based on the NV-Bühne agreement.
