Primary Responsibilities:
Lead executive on a specified account(s). Must have wholesale experience with major retailers. Responsible for total business relationship, including long and short term planning and results. Manage entire business cycle from presentation and selection to execution and maintenance of programs.


Description of Duties:


  • Main communication with customer(s) buying, product development/merchandising and administration teams.
  • Travel to the customer to present product, pricing, presentation plans, line reviews, deductions, margin discussions and any other related issues.
  • Represent and negotiate for K&M standard business and merchandising policies.
  • Competitive shopping and weekly store visits to recognize voids at store level and identify issues and new opportunities.
  • Complete understanding of customer's merchandise systems and their use as a business tool.
  • Must have experience selling to Off-Price Accounts.
  • Establish annual and seasonal sales goals, open to buy plans and marketing plans in conjunction with customer goals.
  • Responsible for budgetingsales forecast, adjustments (subsidy, returns etc.).Work in conjunction with K & M Senior Business Analyst on maintaining internal budgets and forecasts per account.
  • Communicate and ensure customer's needs and plans are properly coordinated by Customer Service Team.
  • Provide product and design direction for the Design and Merchandising team to develop and update the core business and capture promotional and seasonal opportunities.
  • Monitor/analyze reorderable programs with the Planning & Analysis team to ensure best product mix, inventory levels as well as the addition of newness in order to maximize sales through line reviews.
  • Understand key trends and translate into the customer's merchandising strategy.
  • Work with Sourcing and Costing and Merchandising to ensure competitive pricing for accounts.
  • Proactively develops new opportunities and initiatives.
  • Responsible for minimizing liability for discontinued and fashion balances.
  • Communicate with V P of sales all opportunities and issues concerning the account.

Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point as well as

Customer Report Systems

College degree preferred
