    Job Title: Retail Store Manager

    Job Mission:

    Retail Store Managers oversee the staff, operations, and overall presentation of the New Balance store. They lead by example, embodying core values of integrity, teamwork, and ensuring total customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish and uphold a culture of "Total Customer Satisfaction" by fully training your team on the NB GUEST service model
    • Set the store's strategic direction to meet sales and budget targets
    • Hire exceptional individuals to join your team and take responsibility for their growth
    • Implement creative strategies to drive store traffic and achieve financial goals
    • Execute standard business tasks to ensure smooth store operations
    • Maintain high visual merchandising standards to keep the store appealing
    • Organize volunteer initiatives to enhance brand presence in the community
    • Collaborate with the District Manager to analyze market trends and enhance sales
    • Promote positive employee relations and ensure open communication within the store
    • Work with the District Manager on coaching strategies and conflict resolution
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team excellence
    • Promote and adhere to safety protocols

    Success Requirements:

    • Minimum age of 18 years
    • 3-6 years of store management experience (some high-volume stores may require a degree in Business Administration or related field)
    • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
    • Experience in staffing, coaching, and counseling to develop staff
    • Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, budgeting, and loss prevention
    • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed in a dynamic retail environment
    • Physical ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods
