Description
Job Title: Fiscal Assistant at Boston College
The Fiscal Assistant plays a vital role in the fiscal and administrative operations of the Law School at Boston College. As one of two Fiscal Assistants under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Fiscal & Grant Administration, this position serves as the key point of contact for daily financial transactions from faculty, staff, and student organizations. Responsibilities include processing budget transfers, requisitions, vouchers, and expense reports, as well as conducting monthly reconciliations on law school accounts and purchasing cards.
Moreover, the Fiscal Assistant team handles various HR functions at the Law School, managing the hiring processes for part-time faculty, student employees, and faculty supplements. This role also involves tracking and reconciling student payroll, in addition to updating financial reports for the Associate Dean of Finance & Administration and conducting fiscal research as necessary.
Administrative duties of the Fiscal Assistant encompass submitting facilities work tickets, aiding in law school events, and participating in ad hoc projects.
Salary Range: $22.69/hr to $28.35/hr. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience.
