Our
Part-Time Intake / AOD Counselor is responsible for delivering a pre-set professional individual and group counseling program for assigned clients in compliance with company policies and facility and correctional healthcare directives.
What You'll Do:
- Review client health information.
- Maintain client and staff confidentiality.
- Provide personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis in coordination with Administration and other facility programs.
- Monitor client progress. Coordinates problem cases and point out areas in which guidance and development techniques can be improved. Maintain documentation and records.
- Conduct oneonone counseling sessions.
- Conduct education and process groups.
- Complete initial client screenings and intakes.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding client's concerns and needs.
Who You Are:
- Certified AOD Counselor to facilitate DUI Education groups.
- State Certified Professional (Meet all Title 9 requirements)
- Experienced and passionate about working with substance abuse clients or education in substance abuse.
- Excellent Communicator
- Your interpersonal skills and writing are unmatched
