Long-time music venue and lounge owners are looking to add a member to our maintenance team for a mix of commercial and residential tasks across a few locations in East Austin.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Your primary duties will include landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various hand and power tools.


Duties:

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, edging, and trimming
• Plant and maintain plants, palms, and trees
• Remove debris from outdoor areas
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
• Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces
• Various other lightduty maintainence duties as needed across multiple locations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks and assist team memebers with larger tasks across multiple locations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant maintenance
• Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment used in landscaping and light duty, basic repairs
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision if needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Note:
This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.


Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour


Expected hours:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Austin, TX (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Austin, TX: Relocate before starting work (required)
