Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various ammunition production machines such as sorting, processing, priming, loading, packaging, inspection, and other related equipment
- Identify and resolve basic machine operation issues and fault conditions
- Conduct quality control checks using standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, or pin gages
- Follow daily production schedules to ensure targets and deadlines are being met
- Keep accurate records of machinery throughput, faults, and maintenance tasks using standard templates
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Assist with the warehousing and organization of products for the production line
Skills:
- Ammunition processing or loading experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Familiarity with Scharch, Camdex, Ammoload, and Alpha machinery
- Forklift certification a plus
Job Requirements:
- High school degree or GED
- 13 years operating machinery in a production environment
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operation
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Ability to manage multiple related machines concurrently
- Able to work independently, stand for a shift, and lift 50lbs without assistance
