- Preparation of journal entries and reconciliation related to interest rate swaps
- Analysis and reporting of corporate real estate expenses and variances
- Allocation of expenses to support tax and regulatory reporting
- Monthly reconciliation of equity-based compensation and intangible assets
- Collaboration with Tax for proper recording of tax entries
- Preparation of financial information for Windstream Pension and OPEB Plan
- Assistance in internal controls documentation and financial audits
- Preparation of separate financial statements for pension and 401(k) plans
- Qualifications include strong accounting understanding, knowledge of US GAAP, analytical skills, and communication abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and JD Edwards
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and ability to meet deadlines
- Physical tasks involve a mix of standing, walking, sitting, and various movements
- Audio visual needs include hearing and vision requirements
