    Nurse Manager of Pediatric ICU - Dallas, TX

    We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager of Pediatric ICU for our client in Dallas, TX. If you believe you possess the qualifications for this role, we would love to hear from you!



    Position Details:

    • Nurse Manager of Pediatric ICU - Dallas, TX
    • Location: 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75230
    • Project Duration: Direct Placement/Permanent/Full-time

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required (willing to cross-train)
    • Sign-On: Not Guaranteed
    • Shift: Days, 7-10 Hrs/Wkdays Only

    Job Description:

    • We are on the lookout for a Nurse Manager of Pediatric ICU to ensure top-quality, compassionate care for all patients.
    • As the PICU Manager, you will oversee department functions in line with our mission and vision, making critical decisions and upholding the highest standards of care.

    Job Summary:

    • Ensure patient safety in the PICU clinical environment
    • Prioritize effective communication and information management
    • Adhere to ANA Standards of Care and Professional Practice
    • Act as a liaison for patients and their families
    • Make decisions to enhance care continuity and coordination
    • Focus on delivering high-quality care tailored to pediatric patients
    • Implement department initiatives and process improvements
    • Foster collaborative relationships within the healthcare team
    • Manage personnel, payroll, budget, and more

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing required
    • Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years of management experience in an acute care hospital setting with a specialty focus

    Licensure:

    • Current Texas RN license or compact license
    • Current BLS and PALS certification
