- Graduate of an NLN-approved Nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in clinical research nursing is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Perform nursing care, assessment, and data collection for research studies.
- Assist in patient care problem-solving and act as a liaison between the research team and stakeholders.
- Recruit patients, explain study details, and obtain informed consent.
- Manage patient response to therapy and intervention.
- Assist in inventory management of investigational medication and devices.
- Recruit, screen, and track patients for research studies.
- Obtain informed consent and ensure patient eligibility.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' involvement in studies.
- Train other research nurses in specialized skills.
- Collect and report research data accurately.
- Assist in regulatory aspects of studies and submissions.
- Excellent judgment in applying procedures and policies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of laws and regulations governing research studies.
- Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills.
- Work primarily in a clinical environment.
- Possible exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.
