Fort Pierre Industrial Mechanic Apprenticeship (m/f/d) 2024

The vocational training at Heidelberg offers young people diverse and interesting development opportunities and perspectives. Nationwide, more than 300 apprentices and students are continuously trained in various apprenticeships and dual degree programs.

Focus of the apprenticeship:

  • You will learn the basic knowledge of manual and mechanical material processing through varied project work.
  • You will manufacture and assemble complex components and systems in teamwork.
  • You will program and operate modern equipment and machining centers.
  • You will control and regulate pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • You will learn and work independently and act with quality awareness.

Educational requirements:

  • Good secondary school leaving certificate

Personal requirements:

  • Friendly demeanor
  • Teamwork skills
  • Sense of responsibility and diligence
  • Technical understanding
  • Basic knowledge of information technology and PC skills

Duration of apprenticeship:

  • Usually 3.5 years with good performance, possible reduction to 3 years

Perspectives:

  • Deployment in various areas of industrial mass production, e.g. production, quality assurance, maintenance, further specialized qualification, further education to become a master or technician.
